Meet Edge’s Game-Changing AI Copilot

Microsoft has introduced a new ‘Copilot Mode’ in Edge.

Bringing AI directly into the browser to help search across open tabs, complete tasks, and make proactive suggestions.

Copilot Mode integrates AI into Edge’s new tab page, with voice support and multi-tab analysis.
The feature is free for now on Windows and Mac, but may become part of a paid subscription later.
Copilot will be able to use browser history and credentials (with permission) to handle actions like bookings and errands.

Microsoft is stepping into the AI-powered browser race, competing with tools like Perplexity’s Comet and TBC’s Dia. While AI assistants in browsers are still developing, this launch shows that active AI integration in everyday browsing is becoming a key trend.
