Apple May Put Google AI in Siri

Apple may bring Google’s Gemini AI into the next version of Siri, according to Bloomberg.

The talks suggest Apple is weighing whether to rely on its own AI models or outsource to rivals to close the gap in generative AI.

  • Apple has reportedly held talks with Google about using a customized Gemini model inside a redesigned Siri.

  • The upgraded Siri was delayed to 2026 due to technical challenges, leading to leadership reshuffles inside Apple’s AI team.

  • Shares of both Apple and Google rose after the news of a possible partnership.

Apple has been criticized for lagging behind in the generative AI race. A deal with Google could accelerate Siri’s evolution and reshape the balance of power in the AI ecosystem, showing Apple may be more open than ever to outsourcing critical AI technology.

Free Veo 3: Try Google’s AI Videos

Google is giving free Gemini users temporary access to its advanced AI video generator, Veo 3.

For a limited time, even non-paying users can create short AI videos with sound and try out the technology before Monday morning.

  • Veo 3, introduced in May, lets users make 8-second video clips with audio.

  • Free Gemini users can generate up to three videos in the Fast version of Veo 3 until Monday 8:30 AM (Iran time).

  • The free demo produces videos at 720p quality, with options to add visual style, music, dialogues, and ambient sounds.

This move shows Google is pushing AI video creation to a wider audience, not just paid subscribers. By offering free access, Google is likely testing infrastructure and gathering user feedback, while also building hype against competitors in the fast-growing AI video space.
