DAILY UPDATE

OpenAI launches GPT-5-Codex-Mini, a smaller and cheaper coding model for developers.

OpenAI has released GPT-5-Codex-Mini, a lightweight and cost-effective version of its coding model. It offers up to four times more usage than GPT-5-Codex with only a slight drop in performance, making it ideal for everyday software engineering tasks.

  • The new model scored 71.3% on SWE-bench Verified, close to GPT-5-Codex’s 74.5%.

  • It’s now available via CLI and IDE plugins, with API support coming soon.

  • OpenAI also boosted usage limits for ChatGPT Plus, Business, and Edu users by 50%, and added priority processing for Pro and Enterprise users.

This launch helps developers access powerful coding tools at lower cost, keeps performance consistent throughout the day, and ensures a faster, more reliable experience across OpenAI’s platforms.

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHT

MCKINSEY 2025 AI REPORT JUST DROPPED!

The verdict? Nearly all companies now claim to use AI, but most still can’t get past the testing phase.

Here’s the TLDR:

  • 90% of companies use AI,” but 67% are still stuck in pilot mode. Corporate AI theater is alive and well lol.

  • 62% of orgs are experimenting with AI agents, 23% are scaling AI agents. Most are in tech and healthcare.

  • The impact gap is massive. 64% say AI helps innovation, but only 39% see real EBIT gains.

  • The high performers (top 6%) think bigger. They rebuild workflows, set growth goals, and invest real budgets not just POCs.

  • Leaders who own AI personally are 3x more likely to scale it. Makes sense.

  • The winners use AI to transform how work gets done, not just speed it up.

  • The average company measures efficiency. The best ones measure how fast their agents can act.

  • Risk management is catching up with 51% have already seen AI backfire, mostly from inaccuracy.

  • The workforce impact is foggy. 32% expect cuts, 13% expect growth, everyone else is guessing.

  • AI adoption is mainstream, but true transformation hasn’t started.

AI PROMPT

Marketing Channel Strategy

Prompt: You are an expert digital marketing strategist tasked with recommending the best channels for me to achieve my marketing goals.

Create a channel strategy. This will suggest the most effective digital marketing channels to reach our audience personas and objectives. Present this in table format.
The column headers are the names of suggested channel names such as ‘Facebook’, ‘LinkedIn’, ‘Email’, ‘Podcast’ et al. Consider any key digital marketing channels whether organic or paid in your suggestions.
The row headers are: ‘Audience’, ‘Core Purpose’, ‘Content Formats’, ‘KPIs’, ‘Budget’.

Base this on my objectives and my audience persona.

Start by asking me 1. what my objectives are and 2. who my audience personas are (again, challenge me if the info is too vague, and help me fix that).
